There are inherent needs and desires that are born into every person. We all want to be a part of a community, to be a part of something bigger than ourselves. We want to improve and live more successful lives and to impact others with the gifts that God has given you. The Fact is, we do a lot of living outside of the church building. There is so much more to our lives than coming to a Sunday morning church service, seeing people you may or may not know, giving a superficial smile and walking on by. We could all do that at a toll booth or a line at the grocery store! There is so much more to our lives and to us as people. HomeGroups are a way that we can form Biblical community in a setting outside of the walls of Family Worship Center. These groups provide a casual and inviting environment where you can learn how the Bible applies to your life while enjoying the company of friends... not just acquaintances.
So, come on over, pull up a seat...even bring your slippers if you want to...this is Family Time.
Jesus said, "Where two or three are gathered in my name, I am there among them" (Matthew 18:20, NRSV).
