From a small handful of people to a congregation of several thousands the Brooklyn Tabernacle has become a beacon of spiritual light and a place of prayer for people seeking God's help for their lives.
Pastor Cymbala and his wife Carol, who directs the popular 6 time Grammy-Award winning Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, have been used by the Lord to not only preach the Gospel in the inner city of New York, but also to see new churches grow out of their congregation in the metropolitan area and in other parts of the world. Most prominent in this expansion process has been the Tuesday Night Prayer Service attended by close to two thousand people which continues to bring people's needs to the throne of Grace.
Beyond his pastoral role, he brings a probing challenge to believers in America and around the world. Through his best selling books, Fresh Wind, Fresh Fire, Fresh Power, and Breakthrough Prayer, Christians have been touched by the message of God's desire to turn churches and believers into powerful testimonies for His glory.
